Project: Exploring response inhibition: behaviour and neural basis in humans
and non-human primates”

The objective of my postdoc is to investigate voice information processing in the brain using an electrophysiological approach. With this aim, non-human primates were implanted with multiple high-density Utah arrays in fMRI-localized temporal voice areas (TVAs). Multi-electrode arrays recordings allow to explore the fine-grained dynamics of single-neuron spiking and LFP activities in the TVAs using multiple techniques (Representational Similarity Analysis, decoding analysis, and dimensionality reduction techniques) to better understand the “vocal brain”.
